Architect/Senior Developer (PHP/MySQL) for CMS product development
The challenge:
As part of our portfolio Up2 is continuously developing a Content Management System, called the Up2 Web Manager. It is one of our core products. Now we are about to develop a complete new release, based on the latest technologies, using our many years of experience to build the ultimate system.
We are looking for serious people, with prior in-depth CMS experience that like to take on the challenge with us.
Responsibilities:
To assist in planning and designing of the new release of our advanced CMS product
To discuss and estimate project requirements and risks and to propose technology solutions;
To assist in the development of advanced web applications according the technology standards;
To spread the gathered knowledge in the company .
Required skills and experience:
Previous experience in CMS development or content driven applications is an absolute advantage
At least 5 years of professional web development experience PHP/MySQL;
At least 3 years experience with User Interface implementation (not graphical design);
Knowledge and experience with the current web standards, architectures and technologies;
Knowledge and experience with OO programming in PHP 5 and development of relational databases with advanced MySQL;
Proficiency in XHTML, XML/XSLT, CSS, JavaScript ;
Very good team working and communication skills;
Good English language skills;
Positive personality willing to take initiative and responsibilities, to research, promote and move new technologies and solutions
Examples of your work would be highly appreciated:
code based on PHP 5.x, MySQL 5.x, Zend or other PHP Framework;
UI code with JS Frameworks (jQuery, Dojo, Prototype, Yahoo or other);
Implementations of W3C Web architecture standards.
Additional plus, but not required are relevant diplomas, certificates, publications …
