For our Open Source Team in Sofia, Bulgaria we are looking for a
Senior Developer / Technical Lead (PHP/MySQL)
Responsibilities:
To assist in designing and planning the development of web applications based on PHP/MySQL
To discuss and estimate project requirements, budgets and risks;
To assist in and where applicable to technically lead the development (which will also involve client interaction);
To initiate, research and evangelize new approaches and technologies.
Required skills and experience:
At least 7 years of professional web development experience PHP/MySQL;
Proven experience with User Interface implementation (not graphical design);
Knowledge and experience with the current web standards, architectures and technologies;
Knowledge and experience with OO programming in PHP 5 and development of relational databases with advanced MySQL;
Proficiency in XHTML, XML/XSLT, CSS, JavaScript ;
Good team player with excellent communication skills;
Good English language skills;
Positive personality willing to take initiative and responsibilities, to research, promote and move new technologies and solutions.
